Dr. Harinder Sandhu, President and Chair RCDSO

During his 35 years of public service, Dr. Sandhu has bridged his academic life with his clinical life to ensure his leadership is inclusive of all stakeholders in the dental industry. His public service experience includes being an actively practicing dentist. He understands the challenges faced by private practitioners, especially in our current employment climate with dental support workers. He has chaired a variety of committees on the RCDSO council over 8-years to align dentists and the public. He is a Professor Emeritus and Vice-Dean of Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Western Ontario for 11 years (retired). Now an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry, he also has experience in advocacy and government relations to inform public policy.
