Vision

TranscenDent is a first of its kind business competition. It aims to bring big thinkers together to push the dental industry forward and enhance access to care for patients around the country.

Dentistry is in dire need of proper programs and incentives to drive innovation and true entrepreneurship, and joining this competition will put you right on the forefront of this movement!

Details

This competition will train you to identify problems & opportunities, and to subsequently develop and commercialize novel solutions within a real case scenario. As a case competition, we will provide you with a case problem that you and your team will work together to solve.

• We will host a coaching session to orient you on how to do this

• We will provide templates to get you started with your pitch.

• You will be working in an inter-professional team of dental, business and engineering students to come up with a viable solution to a case provided to you. Each person on each team will bring a unique technical skillset in order to formulate a pitch.

You will present your pitch to a panel of expert judges. Top teams will be put in the spotlight and win a money prize. Additionally, you will put yourself on the radar to work with emerging and established technology companies, and get to meet some prominent figures in dental industry and public sector!

We are happy to announce that participating engineering students will be eligible for a $10,000 summer internship at DentaCloud. Networking and Recruiting

We will have be having prominent figures join us for this event, including corporate executives, lawyers, healthcare professionals, government officials, social figures and more present at this event. Our attendees are successful individuals both within and outside of the dental industry. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet future collaborators, employers and innovators in the industry!
